Description of Duties:

Performs a variety of technical-administrative duties for Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Prescriptive Authority program activities. Provides administrative support to Advanced Practice and Nursing Practice Advisory Committees. Oversees and updates Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Prescriptive Authority authorization processing and record keeping. Reviews and processes Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Prescriptive Authority applications. See the detailed job description of essential functions of the position.

General Qualification Requirements:

Experience and Training:

Knowledge of appropriate office procedures and techniques.  Must have a minimum of two years experience on personal computer and the use of various software programs. 

Education:

Earned associate degree.  Baccalaureate degree preferred.

Personal:

Good communication skills, capable of independent work and the ability to make decisions required. Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks with minimum errors.
